Tim Ristoff is the Founder and CEO of TriVista and serves as a senior member of the Investment Committee for TriVista Capital. Tim partners closely with private equity investors, boards, and executive leadership teams to evaluate, acquire, and improve middle-market businesses. He brings deep operational insight and a highly valued, practitioner-driven approach to due diligence and strategic growth initiatives.
Recognized as a pioneer in operational due diligence, Tim has successfully led hundreds of engagements for prominent global private equity firms across diverse industries. Under his leadership, TriVista has achieved recognition as one of the fastest-growing management consulting firms by Consulting Magazine and earned the Mid-Market Operations Consulting Firm of the Year award from Acquisition International.
Prior to founding TriVista, Tim spent 25 years in senior operating roles within Fortune 500 companies. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS from Miami University (Ohio).
As Managing Director, Mike McSweeney founded and leads the TriVista Capital private equity co-investment and minority equity platform, partnering with best-in-class General Partners on a deal-by-deal basis. Mike spearheads fundraising initiatives, develops investment strategy, and serves as a key member of the investment committee. With deep experience and a proven track record, he has been closely involved in nearly all of the firm's 35+ historical investments, contributing to TriVista Capital’s top-decile investment performance.
In addition to his leadership at TriVista Capital, Mike has been a Senior Partner at TriVista Consulting since its inception, where he has played a pivotal role in the firm's growth and development. He actively leverages TriVista Consulting's extensive operational capabilities to enhance returns and create strategic value across the investment portfolio.
Mike currently serves on the boards of several portfolio companies and previously held board positions at Aerospace Contacts, Bridge Diagnostics, a leading industrial distributor, Bandy Manufacturing, and Pioneer Faucets, among others.
Mike began his career at ITT Industries, a Fortune 300 company. He holds a BA from Bond University in Queensland, Australia, and has completed executive leadership programs at Dartmouth College and Harvard University.
Stuart Lowe serves as President of TriVista Consulting and is an active member of the Investment Committee at TriVista Capital. Stuart oversees day-to-day operations at TriVista Consulting, leading multiple practice areas and working directly with private equity clients and portfolio company executives to deliver operational transformations and performance improvements.
Stuart's expertise includes global due diligence, multinational footprint optimization, and comprehensive operational turnarounds. With over 25 years of global operational leadership at ITT Industries and TRW, Stuart combines extensive hands-on industry experience with deep technical acumen.
He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wolverhampton University and has completed executive leadership training at Stanford University.
As a Principal with TriVista Capital, Rob Staky oversees the firm’s private equity investment processes and portfolio management. Throughout his career, Rob has directly invested over $1.5 billion in middle market and lower middle market companies, including direct equity investments of more than $650 million and more than $900 million of senior debt investments.
Prior to joining TriVista Capital, Rob led M&A for ATI Restoration, a portfolio company of TSG Consumer Partners serving the residential and commercial restoration space. Prior to that, he actively shaped the M&A strategy for Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN), including the company’s first European acquisition (Andermatt), and executed private equity investments as a member of CIVC Partners and Gerchen Keller Capital. Rob was also a private debt investor for five years as part of Madison Capital Funding, LLC. He started his career in investment banking with Stephens Inc.
Rob graduated from Texas Christian University with academic honors and was a member of the Division I Men’s Basketball team.
Danielle McSweeney serves as TriVista Capital’s CFO and Head of Compliance. Danielle joined the firm in 2024 and is responsible for the firm’s financial compliance and LP reporting processes.
Danielle brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate investing and private equity. Danielle previously served as Vice President and Division Finance Officer of The Irvine Company, a private real estate development company.
Danielle graduated from Villanova University magna cum laude and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Cengiz Selman serves as a Strategic Advisor to TriVista Capital and is a member of TriVista Capital’s LP Advisory Committee for Funds I & II.
Cengiz brings perspective earned from over 30 years of private equity experience as a General Partner, Limited Partner, Co-Investor, and lead investor in the lower middle market. Cengiz was formerly a partner at Arsenal Capital Partners and Dresdner Kleinwort Capital in New York City.
Cengiz earned an MBA from Columbia Business School.
